Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. Her most well-known role was Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 & 2014. She was Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio in the United States, where she nurtured her love of the theatre. She studied theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a year in the British American Drama Academy. Anna spent a few seasons performing in Chicago theater before transitioning to television and film. Anna received her breakthrough in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden for the duration of 29 episodes on Down the Shore. Anna continued to be guest stars on a few TV shows and films including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue until the late 1990's, when she was cast in a recurring role in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years on Deadwood's season two. Skyler is Her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully was one of her roles. Gunn is also a part of the the stage for David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. In addition, she played in Numbered Day, an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio plays. The romance with Walter White and his wife Skyler is usually the main focus of the story of Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and its eventual demise arguably mirroring the same arc of Walter White's last years of life.
